Default Rocker switch cover replacement

Does anyone know if the cover on rocker switches are replaceable, or do you have to replace the whole switch?
My switches work fine, but the covers are sun damaged, faded and brittle.
It seems like the cover should just pop off, but I don't want to damage it without knowing for sure.
I just can't seem to find the covers themselves.

Yes, you can replace the Cole-herse type of rocker switch cover. At west marine they have switches that have black or gray switch covers. Problem is you have to buy the whole switch, but don't have to remove old switch to put on the new cover.

That's what I was afraid of. I just pulled them all out, prepped and painted them with black plastic spray paint. They almost look like new, might need one more coat before I re-install them.
