Default Replacement Fridge - 3300 SCR

Hello all, has anyone recently replaced the refrigerator on their 3300 SCR? If so, were you able to find a decent match. My local maintenance shop states they can’t find one that fits the original cabinet dimension. Trying to see if there are alternatives and the yard is just being lazy.

Thanks.

Jon

It is normally a Norcold fridge. You could use colored starboard to make a trim ring if it doesn't fit exactly.

What are the cut-out dimensions?

I've replaced mine in the same boat. A direct replacement is the Norcold DE-0041. The dimensions on the literature read the same as the original but it is a little different. Very tight getting into the cabin and I had to make some slight alterations in the hole but it fits.

Thanks guys. Shrew, havent measured yet as taking the yards info from their quote. They didn’t give me a model number so I want to check on that. Thanks for the model number sph801! Will be at the boat this weekend and will start sorting it out.

I need to replace the fridge on my 3700SCR and it looks like the DE-0041 is my replacement unit for the original DE-541. Any issues or need to test down the fridge to get it into the cabin? Thanks!

My boat is a 3300 SCR. You're boat being larger I would assume has a larger hatch going into the cabin. I had to remove the hatch door and even the thin trim to manipulate the fridge into the cabin but it went in without removing anything from the fridge.
