Remote Radio Controls - JVC Factory System

I have a 2005 3500SY which was ordered with the JVC factory stereo system that came with two hard wired remote controls, one in the dash and one in the stern, to the right of the battery & bracker cabinet as you face the stern. These remotes are held in installed and held with a bracket in the back. I replaced the dash one as I could unsrew the dash and pull it out to gain access. What I am wondering is does anyone know how to get at the one on the stern? I tried from the engine compartment, however there is a lot of other wires and electronics in the way plus its a pretty high reach to get too? Appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions for me? Was wondering if you can take this one out from the front? Thanks, Doc.
