red light by compass

When I turn on the NAV Lights, this red light next to the compass comes on, is there suppose to be a lens cover for this? right now it's just hanging, see pic below

There is a half shield (cover) on mine that has a light in it.

Thanks sounds like I’m missing a piece. Can you send a pic of yours?

Got the same issue, previous owner must have broken off the shield that pivots over the top. I believe parts are no longer available.

Can not send photo as boat is in storage.
The info I have from factory state that it is a Richie 3 inch flush mount.
If I am not mistaken it is a Richie Explorer F50 flush mount.

Correction to the above info.
Just found the info on the compass.
It is a Richie F-82 or F-83
Check the Richie website to see if they can repair it.

Not coming out of storage too soon as lake is still iced over.

Here's a pic of mine I just snapped for ya. Front and back. Hope it helps. In looking at it, my light appears to be inside under the housing and looks to be green tinted.
