There should only be a single cable that goes from the Display up to the array. Scanner Not Reponding usually means the display is not getting a signal from the array. I'd start by making sure it's plugged in and that the female side of the connector is not heavily corroded. There is a block style connector up on the array, I'd make sure that is properly connected. Try to unseat and re-seat the connector on the array and make sure the female side of that connector is not heavily corroded.
Anything beyone that and you're going to need the pin out diagram for the connectors.
