Default Radio problems

1997 1900 XR
I'm having problems with the radio "clicking" in and out as the motor is running. It seems to be turning off and on or seems like there is a short but only when the motor is running in idle and when engaged. Works perfect when the motor is off.

Thanks for your insight.

Def sounds like a bad connection. If it was a car, I'd say a bad ground. The vibrations from the engine are most likely causing it to "jiggle" and thus the in/out operation.
