Mercury vessel view

Hi I've bought mercury vessel view to use on my 2006 1900 SR3 with a 5.0MPI.

I'm struggling to locate the plug in the engine bay that connects to the vessel view module. Its been suggested yellow or purple plug and I can't find it anywhere.

Any suggestions would be great. I assumed being 2006 and an MPI engine that it would be plug and play.

Did you ever find it? Mine was between the ecu and the coil pack area. Back part of engine, it had a dirty yellow cap on the harness.

Yes I found it! Stuffed down the back. Plug wasn't visible as it was on a small cable 1ft long.

Mine came with a purple dust cover not a terminator plug so I had to buy one separately to get it working
