I have a new 1800 SR3 ,and although I can attach the IPOD,the IPOD screen shows "do not disconect " and we cannot access our playlists,we just get random songs.Has anybody had this problem ,or any idea how to get around it?thought s most welcome.

I've only ever seen this on my Ipods twice.

1) When I first charge them out of the box.

2) When I tried to connect them to a pc using a USB 1.0 port, instead of a USB 2.0.

How are you connecting the ipod to the stereo? I found a couple of links that talk about connecting the iPOd to a 'car
stereo using USB. I also found some which talk about conncting using Firewire. It might help to narrow the search if we understand how it is being connected.

Also what type and generation iPod do you have? Have you ever upgraded the firmware?
