Hey Rob...welcome to the zoo....first off....as you install the meter....make sure it doesn't have an affect on the compass.....once you've established that....you can pull the dash apart where the key is...find a circuit that has no power until you kick turn the key on....when the key is on..you hvae pwr to the meter....that is where you want to either splice into or add a lug...turn the batt. pwr off before working on the circuit since you will be messing with the key......that's all there is to it......hope this helps....
