Default Help with wiring please

I am getting closer to starting my engine on my restoration project my 1984 Sea Ray 5.6 Seville Cuddy 150 ELPO with a Mercruiser 260 engine. I will be excited to hear this motor later today for the first time. I am having trouble finding my correct wiring diagram after all the ones I have seen and downloaded. With that said, I was hoping someone could tell me where this wire is to be hooked up to. It was unhooked when I purchased the boat. It appears to be a Tan or White wire with a blue stripe but none of the wiring code color shows this color used by Mercruiser. It has a round connector attached to it but I do not see anywhere it goes.
Thank You for your advice
Mr. Steve Wayne

I am working to try and figure that out. I will get back with you as soon as I know.
Another question, I have 2 Red wires to the top center of my starter solenoid and the Yellow with red stripe wire on Right smaller screw, Correct?

It looks to me after un-tapping some of the tape on the harness that it is running beside a blue wire to some kind of a (junction) block On left side of engine (above starter side). Above valve cover and below where the shifting cable connects underside of exhaust port.
Does that help?
Thank You, Please Advise

Just realized you have a points system. I’ll have to dig out an old manual to look this up.

I believe a previous owner hacked the engine wiring as far as I can tell you should have the Thunderbolt IV ignition system and that white/green wire would go from the ignition amplifier to the ignition sensor in the distributor. However the picture you posted shows a point distributor. Here are the wiring diagrams for both.
