Default gps and vhf set up

im trying to hookup my new toys i had for xmas ,they are navman 7100 dsc vhf.and navman 5505 gps.i need a good wiring diagram.to link the gps to the vhf. :? .anyone done this?.

also what do (nmea) mean? and navbus.

i did have a look but cant find it.

Hi Gezy
well..if I remember right ..there are 2 wires that connect too the radio and gps...mine was brwn/purple...on the gps ..going to the blue/green wires...but to be sure...you need to contact the vendors that built them and find out which ones they are....

wish I could help better but each vendor might use different colored wires...

i did email them still have not got back to me.i did have a look on the net for this.but no good.the wiring diagram in the handbook is crap.the last thing i need is to fry it ops: lol.i just seen this now

ok..I'm looking at the Navman 7100 vhf dsc radio...right??...with the gps antenna added??..

finally...my work LT wouldn't let me pull that up for some reason..well..I got too look at the item and it looks like it's already wired....all you do is add powr and ground..mount....
