Default GFI Outlet on 1996, 2400 SCR

Can't get the GFI outlet to reset and suspect that it has gone bad. Is this outlet specific to marine or can any GFI be used? Thanks for any info and responses.

Thanks. This is a fabulous site. It is nice to get some feed back on things that you are not quite sure of before making a expensive mistake. While this outlet showed me nothing that made me think it was anything special, it is always nice to be able to ask those with more experience on the water. Thanks Seapuppy!

An even better tip: make sure the breaker is off before you start pulling the outlet out ;-)
