Default Does the 2400SCR have a "corded" hull??

Want to by this depth sounder
http://www.norcrossmarine.com/products/ ... pport.htm#

Hawkeye model DF1120S

But the in hull install manual says it can only be mounted in hull on non-corded hulls...... Does this mean I can't mount it on the bilge floor next to the original one that broke?

Default chorded hull

you hull is probably a composite hull with wood and laminated fiberglass..so it's probably pretty solid for a thru hull ...but you could probably buy an outside aft mounted transducer for your boat and that would work....i think...

I now alot of people purchase stuff over ebay....but personally...I've never bought anything over ebay and just don't trust it well enough....heard too many stories of people getting ripped off.....I go to a store...a physical place....I buy locally when I can...and I buy direct from reputable companies by calling thier phone number and placing an order for what I want....that way I'm pretty positive about what i get.....but that's just me...
