Default D41BD depth gauge

Ok So I bought a D41BD to replace my D40BD that is so dim I can't read it... I have the operator manual but can't find the install guide. Any one know what the wires are. I know red = + and Black = - but what about the other 5 colors?

Who makes it?
Try their WEB site?
Are the colors the same between the two? If so wire it the same as the old.

Sorry but you are not giving us much to go with.

Err the unit was made by Standard Horizon. They stopped making it 10 years ago. The only manual they have is the operator manual which has no wiring... I am hoping that they redheaded to the NMEA 0183 color code. I would not have asked here unless I had run out of ideas. I do understand how NMEA 0183 and 2000 work. I was hoping someone had an old manual laying around. BTW for anyone looking at doing 0183 here is a link to the specs.. http://www.nmea.org/Assets/20110224%...r%204%20xx.pdf

Ok got it, did you try googling for it? Once on the WEB it is there forever so if it was ever posted it should show up.

Does the old unit have the same number and color code? If so follow how it was connected.

You may also what to ask the question on iBoat forum as this not a Maxum specific question and there is a wider base of folks there.
