Bow Searchlight Won't Turn or Rotate

I have a 2008 2900 SE.

Searchlight on the bow turns on (and off) but won't rotate with the toggle anymore. I checked the fuses (two of them at the toggle switch on the dashboard) and they're fine.

Anyone had this problem - any ideas?

If it's getting power to the motor it's probably the little teflon gear has been stripped by someone grabbing it and twisting it. You should be able to buy a rebuild kit.

Mine did not work either.
So I wiggled it until it moved a bit, now it works great.
