Battery Cable Connection Pattern - Maxum 2900 SE
Replaced all my batteries and replaced the 12V house w/ 2-6V golf batteries in series - no problems there.
Before I started. I ook pictures of how the cables hooked up to the batteries but have a feeling they were not hooked up correctly to begin with because my battery switches don't correspond to the battery banks (ie. Starboard switch doesn't turn off starboard, it turns off House).
Does anyone have a picture of their battery cable hook-up or a diagram? The manuals do not cover this and my marine mechanic (smart guy) can't figure it out but at least got me hooked-up to be running - I've got a bad feeling one of my starter batteries is acting as a House when I'm moored b/c the switches are not matched to the correct battery configuration
