AC Issues. Fan speeds, and power button
I have a Passport ll Display panel for my Ac:
Issue 1: My power button has stopped working. Luckily it is stuck in the "On" position. I have been using the braker to turn it on/off. Are there any fixes for this without replacing the panel?
Issue 2: I should have 6 manual fan speeds and an automatic setting. I can enter the the fan speed mode and change the numbers 1-6, low speed to high. The problem is the fan only produces little air movement. It doesn't blow more air, just low speed. I see in the manual I can change the programmable parameters. Not sure about this, especially with the on/off switch not working. I need it to enter the program mode.
Any advice would be much appreciated

Do not much about this system, does the manual have a wiring diagram?
My first thought is to jump power directly to the blower with the panel connector disconnected. If the blower runs at full speed the control panel is the issue.
IMO this does not sound like a programming issue but instead an electrical issue with the panel.

Mike,
I do have a manual with a wiring diagram. I will try to have someone to help me figure that out. The original owner told me that it always was like that. He bought the boat new. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Other Maxum boats on my dock, Ac put out a lot more air.

I wondered if there are terminals on the back of the control panel that may be corroded or bad connection.

Is the AC power and fan speed settings all on the same panel? Does anything work on the panel?

Yes the AC power and fan speed are on the same panel. Everything on the panel seems to work except the on/off. Temp readout, temp up & down, fan speed numbers change. What doesn't change is the speed of the fan output.

So On/Off and Fan speed do not work while Temp readout and temp up/down do work; correct?
Can you provide me the wiring diagram?

Mike,
Everything on the panel seems to work except on/off. The fan speeds on the panel change up and down, but the fan blower motor does not change. It just blows low speed.
I looked at my manual, there are six different wiring diagrams. I guess I will have to get the model number off of the AC unit next week when I am there.
Thank you for your help.

Mike,
This looks like the manual I have. My boat is a 2001. The manual says 6/99.
You will probably need the model number too though. VECTOR SERIES
