my boat didn't come with a generator, but I am strongly considering adding a generator. What would it take to run the whole boat? At most it would be the A/C, TV, refrigerator and lights. I was thinking about a Honda EU 3000IS. What are some of you guys running or what do you advise?

Your best bet is to look at the load of all you will be using and total it up and add margin.
Honda 3000IS is enough to run everything on a friends boat IE 30ft Bayliner. I have a 3200scr and I use a Black Max 3550w with 4550 startup and It ran everything on my boat. I also ran it for over 15hrs on one tank of gas which it holds 4.5gal. just not as quiet as a Honda.
