I need to remove the horn for check/replacement on my newly acquired 2003 2400sc. There are no mounting screws on the outside though the cover does have some play i did not want to start prying on it. I can see the horn thru the speaker hole inside the forward cabin at the bow but the horn is back aways from the smaller then my arm hole. Any tips for removal/replacement would be appreciated.
Is there an access panel in the bow that leads into that space? You might need to remove the bulkhead panel itself. Or try and remove the speaker and reach through there. On my 2800 it was inside the anchor chain locker, which had a hatch from the vberth.
