Default 2007 2400 SE Radio Antenna

I just moved up from 1996 2400 SCR to a 2007 2400 SE. I have a JBL MR-17 head unit which I believe is the stock unit, as it has an amp, two wired remotes, and a CD changer. It has two speakers down below, and four up top (2 6x9" & 2 6.5".

Question is, I pulled the head unit out because I don't receive local radio stations AM/FM, and there is no antenna connected to the head unit. I also don't see an antenna anywhere on the boat other than the VHF. Is this normal? Did these boats come from the factory with an AM/FM antenna?

Thank you in advance for any information!

IF the AM/FM antennae was installed, it was the wire type (In Wall antenna) and it would be stuffed into the hole where the head unit was mounted. No, there is no whip style antennae installed on boats for AM/FM. You certainly can if you want.
