Default Soon to be new owner - 2008 2500 SE in SC

I just had my offer accepted on a 2008 2500 SE today, and if all goes well with the survey, she'll be in my possession in a week or so.

This is my first boat and I cannot wait for my first voyage.

I live in the Charleston, SC area. If you're around this part of the country, reach out and say hello. I'd love to meet some fellow boaters!

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new to you boat.

While it's you first boat do you have boating experience? If not I suggest a safe boating class.

Welcome aboard psurana!!

I second a safe boating course. POwer squadron has an extended course which includes navigation. I would highly recommend that for anyone on the ocean.

Thanks Mike! I had taken the safe boating class years ago, and I have experience boating in rivers & lakes. Being new to the area and not familiar with the open water tides/winds/geography in South Carolina, I plan to take the course again as refresher.
