Default New to Boating

Hello.
Just joined the club of boating after having bought a small 1991 maxum 2100sc. few problems but I am sure it will work out well. Main one is the fuel guage does not work. What a pain, even the mechanic was unsure why it did not register a full tank. (how big is the tank on the maxumm 2100sc.(1991) anyway.
But other than that all seems ok.
I went out on it 1st time yesterday and then again today...............what fun

I live in Miami, only for the last 2 years having moved from Scotland. Quite some difference I can tell you.
Oh well thats me. I look forward to reading posts

Chris

Chris...
welcome to the zoo.....first off...take a boating safety course....believe me it will answer so many questions and make you a safer boat..

2nd off...never approach the dock faster than your willing to crash into it.....

I answered your question on the tank sender.....

Yes thanks Steve..........Chris, as a member of the United States Power Squadron by all means take a Safe Boating course. Go to www.USPS.org and you can find a squadron in your area that is puttting on a class. Take a class and your insurance will go down.........see your saving money already! Get a Vessel Safety Check done on your boat too. The USPS does that also.
For that matter you can join the USPS and take all sorts of classes. From Piloting to Engine Maintenance courses it's all there for you and anyboby else that is interested.

Ok I'm off the soapbox..........I'm going boating....... Have fun boating Chris!
