Default New Owners 1999 Maxum 4600 SCB

Hello... I guess I’ll tag along on the “new owner” thread as well. My wife and I just sold a 2006 Monterey 250 and about to step into a 1999 Maxum 4600 SCB. We completed a mechanical survey and waiting for engine and transmission oil analysis to come back. Found a few minor issues that the current owner repaired at the tune of $7000, (I think that’s minor in boat dollars?). We conducted the sea trial and marine survey to ensure the mechanical repairs were completed properly. The marine survey included a haul-out inspection. Again, minor issues. Fwd bilge pump, shower sump, and raw water system inop. In my experience those should be relatively simple fixes. We haven’t closed on the deal, but thought we’d sign-up to the Maxum Owners community. We were members of the Monterey Owners community and it was my primary “go-to” website for anything Monterey. Great people, lots of help, and great advice. Look forward to getting onboard the Maxum family!!
