Default New owner, learned new feature

I pulled the teardrop vinyl pad on my 3700 scr above the sink on the radar arch... and it opened into a hatch with an outlet.

A quick poll, how many knew that pad opened into a hatch?

Am I the only one on the short bus, or are there others that didn't know it was there?

Does it look factory, or did someone add it?

Looks original to me.

The vinyl pad has the Maxum logo sewn into it just like the pad across from it. (which is screwed on, and doesn't come off easily).

Hmm. I have a 3000, but you got me curious. I was wishing there was an outlet out there, and had been thinking about adding one. My pads like that have the speakers in them though.

I found it by tracing wires in the hatch room. 2 of the 120v wires broke loose from the bundle, and went straight up. As I know the only things up there are the sink, and icemaker, I already found the icemaker outlet.

The other looked like it was bolted directly to the bench with the cooler/livewell box. It turned out to be the ridge the radar arch is connected to.

There are two pads on this side of the arch, round one with a speaker, and a tear drop shaped one that the top pulls out to open the hatch.
