Hi guys,
New Maxum 2300SCR owner in the UK.
Had boats before but not a sports Cruiser.
I'm gonna be reading plenty of the posts over the coming weeks and maybe even posting a few questions.

Hi Portholme we are in Sheffield but the Boat is near Goole so not to close.
Are there many Brits on here?
It might be good to see if we can group together to see where UK resources for Maxums?

i don't know how many Brits there are, I've had interactions with a few and all are very friendly. Regardless of nationality everyone on here has been very helpful. As it happens I'm in Sheffield this week for the British Swimming Summer Champs at Ponds Forge.

Enjoy your boat

Hi Jas

Well that's 3 of us so far lol all with boats nowhere near each other.
Do you two guys go out to sea or just inland?
I ask because all out past boats were inland and I was wondering if I need to do a course like the RYA powerboat 2 if I wanted to go coastal?

Hi Jas, I've always fancied having a tootle around the broads but would have to go from Boston so would still have a bit of sea to go on.
We have been moored at Shardlow NR Nottingham which is great as you have the Trent and Mersey canal, river Soar, the Trent all to play on.
