New member - 2007 2600SE
Hello, just joined this forum after purchasing a 2007 Maxum 2600 SE at the end of July. I boat in the Upper Chesapeake in Maryland. My previous boat was a 1988 Sea Ray 230 Weekender that I owned for 10 years.
Loving the new (for me) Maxum, especially the layout of the cockpit. It's got the 5.0L MPI engine with Bravo III outdrive, and is surprisingly responsive. My Sea Ray had a 5.7L Merc and weighed 3000 lbs less, but this boat is just as quick.
Have already looked at a lot of very helpful posts in this forum, and am stoked to participate in this community. Will post pictures later.
