Smile Maybe a future owner of Maxum

Hello all,

For 3 years now that I have lived with this view, the desire for a boat has germinated in my head.

My place is at the back on the left, yes, I can see my boat from my terrace.

I live in Barcares in the south of France with a huge playground which is the pond of Leucate.

Since last winter I have buy an abandoned little boat, an RIO 450 TOP
The day I have buy it:

And after cleaning and DIY

Today I can go sailing, have fun, have barbecues, parties... the dream!

https://youtu.be/LcMzKi3sl44

Now that I've been sailing for a year, I think I've made my debut on a little 250 kilos baby, I'm looking for something bigger (not necessarily much bigger and also more comfortable..), a few days ago I came across a classified ad of a Maxum but nothing else (by dint of looking and I think it a 1700 XR from 1989).
Almost in the same condition as the RIO. I love restoring and repairing. I have to go visit it this weekend. I look forward

Attention sensitive souls

I'm in love

See you,
Pat.

sorry for the google translate, i'm tired here

Pat, welcome aboard!

You do nice work and have a beautiful view. Let us know if you buy her and if you do post pictures of the project.

Great restoration on that Rio! Never seen one before, neat little boat.

There are boats like those Maxums in the back of just about every Marina I've ever seen. Looking forward to your decision and your project if you decide to buy it.

What about the ones surfacing due to the very low water levels.
