Just signed 46 maxim newbies

Well i had posted earlier, in the general boating forum, to try and find out the good and bad about the 46, only had positive feedback, Did the survey and see trial and just doc u signed.. so now what, never owned a ocean boat, many lake boats, even twin 34' offshore boat, but this is a new game, lots to learn, been trying to learn as much as possible in the last few months, but now that i have a boat, i'm sure i will be overwhelmed.. We are from so Cal wife, 8 yr old, going to start off in Long Beach and see how it is.. Jeff

You may want to hire a captain to go out with you to teach how to handle this big boat as well as all the other systems. In my area there is a company called first captains which do this.

yes sir.. that will be our first call before taking out anywhere
