Default Hello Maxum People - New Member here

Just bought my 2000 28 SCR and have had a bunch of little problems that I'm working thru.
Much help from reading the forums, thank you.
Water in the Starboard motor
Shift neutral "push button" on the Starboard motor control
Temp guage not working.
But I can handle all of those things. The wife and I spent the night at the dock in Newport and had a blast.
Going again this week.

Thx for all the info.

"Mothers Day" is my boats name since I promised my wife it would be ready last year....
Ken

Welcome aboard. I have a 1997 2800 with a single 8.1. I can't imagine how little space there is in the in the engine compartment with twins, even if they're 4.3's.

Well best of luck as from what I have seen by the time water is in the oil the bomb is ticking.

Have you performed a leak down test on the cylinders?
