Default Hello from Virginia Wine and Lake Country! 2400 Maxum SCR YR 2000

hey everyone. I FINALLY purchased my dream layout of a boat. the 2000 MAXUM 2400 SCR. finding this boat happened by complete chance and totally out of the blue over this weekend. so, i am already in a houseboat on the lake and admired this other boat in the marina slips but there was no brand on the side of it. I kept looking and looking at this boat and admiring it and thought this is the boat I want. years and years I wanted a searay sundancer, but realized it's the layout I like the most, and the brand isn't necessarily a must have. this past Saturday, the owner was at the boat, and I went up to talk to him and told him how much I have admired the boat.. So.. as of today (Monday), I now own a 2000 Maxum 2400SCR!...and I just moved to a real lake house 3 months ago.

Welcome! I agree with what you said about layout. Maxum's seem to be well laid out. Live our 3300 in comparison to Searays I've been in. Enjoy it.

Ditto on the layout situation with the Maxum line. We see so many other boats the same size as our 2900 that don't have nearly the same smart concept of space and usefulness put into the cockpit area as ours.
