Hi guys, I recently bought my first ever boat,a 1995 maxum 1800SB. It is in pretty good condition for being 20+ years old. All the interior,gauges, upholstery has been redone(modernised a bit) before I bought it and my mechanic says that the engine and outdrive is in good shape. It's a 3l merc and alpha gen2 outdrive. It is basic spec with no mods added to it. I will be driving it in the river this year and probably will ship it to sea the next year because I live in a landlocked country(Serbia). Do you have any interesting info , tips and tricks, mod ideas, or just maintenance advice for this boat. Cheers!

Keep it the way it is and if you ever see anything wrong, fix it right then, don't wait till will bit you.
Do all the maintenance in time.
What is very important winterize it in time, and do all of the stapes. Don't do what others do, ooo i got that last year and I know its ok, no, it's not ok, special with a older boat like yours.
