GF and I have bought a 1999 Maxum 3000 SCR. Did our own 3-hour tour bringing it down to the Severn River from Charlestown, MD. It's a first boat for both of us and loving it! Planning to take the day on May 23rd to watch the Blue Angels practice their airshow near the Academy. Any Marylanders out there interested in rafting up?
Chief, you're not keeping it in the YP basin are you? The Blue Angels' show is great. When I taught at USNA back in the 90s, lived up on Perry Circle - we'd stand on our roofs to watch .... close enough to see the inverted jet jocks tweaking things in the cockpit as they went over head.
Of course, as a Bubblehead it all just seemed like a lot of show off stuff from some skinny kids wearing ascots
