1996’ 2100 sr possible purchase

Hey everyone, thanks in advance for any information y’all can provide!

I’ve been looking at a 1996 2100 SR for $4,000 w/o a trailer. The boat seems to be in good shape considering the years and has been stored in a dry stack storage. My main issue is that it doesn’t have a trailer and I can’t seem to find much information as far as dry weight for this model. I’ve seen everything from 2,800 lbs to 3,800 lbs. I know I need to factor in about 300 for gas and more for gear but I have no clue where to start. Also, are there any other problem areas with these boats that I need to look out for?

Welcome aboard.
You need a double axle trailer for that size boat.
And then you have more than enuf.

I second the tandem axle requirement.

Your only problem areas that I have seen are whatever any previous owners did or didn’t do.

If you go to a local trailer shop they have books that can tell you what size is required.

Thanks, everyone. Doesn’t look like it’s going to happen unless something turns up on Craigslist. Don’t see the point in spending $4k for a trailer for a $5k boat. Let ya know if something changes
