"Red Solo Cups" my..***** not on my Boat..lol
Ok I spent a WEEK Cleaning the Boat, in the 1st hour on the water I had soda and beer and SoCo spilled all over the Boat eng cover, all over the Deck, ... What was we was Crusing up the river hit a few little waves and everybody (Except me..lol) It wasn't my fault...really...lol .... spilled everything they was drinking. I told them next time they wanted to ride on my boat they had to use Tippy Cups... like the Little kids use....
All that for this question.... What kind of "Drinking Cups" does everybody else use...looking for some Ideas!
Todd

We made the same mistake one day. Thought it would be nice to enjoy some mimosa's in plastic wine glasses one morning while getting under way. It didn't work out so hot.
Either bottles, cans, or something with a lid. I saw some lidded boating cups somewhere but don't remember where.

Cans and the cups ss3964spd mentioned are the only thing allowed on my boat. A friend with a supercharged catamaran turned me on to the cups, you can't even drink from a can on his boat, the wind literally sucks your beer out of the can.
Cheetos and anything else orange are also a disaster waiting to happen.

Use the KISS method..... Keep it simple stupid, SHOTS, doesn't stay in the cup long enough to spill, then after enough, you dont mind it spilling, especially on the ladies tops! which as a good skipper you offer to take off them and dry of your front rail.
Its served me well over the years

We exclusively us Tervis cups with lids. I can't put my finger on exactly what I love about them but I use them at home and on the boat. One thing I love at home is they don't sweat at all so I don't have to worry about coasters on the wood furniture. You can get little handles for them, they come in different sizes and can be personalized. Here is one of my favorites...

I know Bed Bath & Beyond sells them and the accessories for them and there is always a 20% off coupon for that store so that is where I usually get them...

you can add things like red gatorade to that list to.
years ago when my dad had a boat he invited some guests out for a day of boating.
They showed up with their two kids and two buckets of KFC. That was the last time he ever invited people out on his boat.

I drink straight from the bottle. This way I don't have to do dishes, and have more room in the galley for more bottles.

I don't allow any red Solo cups in my ride just because I think that song is about the worst thing ever...but I digress.
We use the 64oz big glups with snap on tops for our drink mixing. Can make a huge captain coke that will last a good long time!
