Gas cap ring

Where can I find a thin ring 1 1/2" that fits on the chain or wire to prevent losing the gas cap. I have looked everywhere. Plenty of key rings but all to heavy. Somebody has to have.

Look for Stainless Steel 1.5" 'split ring' or 'key ring'.

Key ring is to thick and won't close to insert. That's why I was looking for the thin ones that will collapse

How about if you...

1) Remove the hose from the barb end of the deck plate.
2) drop in the chain, screw on the cap.
3) connect the ring to the chain from the bottom.
4) re-install the hose.
