1999 4100 a/c

Hello everyone, Got my 1999 4100 scb home to NJ from Lake Champlain this weekend, and had trouble with the stateroom A/C. Sounds as if compressor pulls in, but fan doesn't start and coil freezes.It's 16 years old, just wondering if anyone has had one serviced/fixed, or just outright replaced, and if so which unit did you use and how was the installation.
