Storing the drive up is a no no for two reasons, one it can get stuck up due to issues with the hydraulic rams and second it puts stress on the bellows which can lead to premature failure.
Try disconnecting the ends of the rams from the trailing end of the drive to see if only one is stuck. Sometimes a blow with a rubber mallet can free it else it will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
