Issue with head faucet/shower

I have an issue with the faucet in my head. It appears to be a Whale setup. The issue is my cold water valve doesn't work. The hot works fine, but the cold just spins round and round (loosely) and no water comes out. Curious if this has happened to anyone and if it can be fixed? They aren't crazy money to replace and I have everything open at the moment while doing the AC....however, I've already spent a bazillion on stuff already this Spring, so if I can save a hundred bucks and just fix it...great We don't really use that sink much anyway....it's tight in there and I am fluffy...so I usually just walk out and use the galley sink.
