Maxum 1700 SX possible cooler/live well and speaker installs

I just bought a 92 Maxum 1700 SX with a 2015 4-stroke 60hp Merc outboard. It still had the stock tape deck and 2x audiovox speakers which I've replaced. However, I'd like to add 2 more speakers by the passenger and driver side.

At the bow of the boat it seems as though I could add two storage chests or a livewell/cooler. Anyone know if this is possible by cutting out a lid under the bow seats? I've added pictures of where I'm thinking of installs. BTW this boat is only driven on freshwater lakes and rivers in Ontario.
