Back to the lake and boating after 40 years away. Recently found a lightly used '04 1800 SR3 and will be getting it into the lake this week to see what I got. Then it will be out, winterized, and stored with great anticipation until next spring. I think the kids and grandkids are going to love it!
My last boat with significant experience was a '69 Glastron with 327 Chevy/Berkley Jet propulsion... I think the SR3 will feel a bit different ;-)
Do you have a history on the maintance of the boat? i.e. when was the impeller, gear lube, engine oil... last changed?
Supposedly last year. I'll be looking closely in the next few days. Hopefully the Maxum will require less catch-up maintenance than the 49 year old lake home.
